newzbot: site feedback - by thread | Posting - vs. propagation of test messages. (#3075) by Anonymous at 2009-12-13 18:54:32 |
| I occasionally see test messages posted to "alt.test". I also note
that these messages show up in Google's archive (for 7 days), so as well as being propagated to/from my usual reading server, they do seem to get distributed across Usenet. However, when reading here about various servers, they never seem to say posting is allowed. They either say "no" or "unverified - posted test message but it has not propagated". Is there a propagation problem where newzbot no longer has any serving peer by which to receive such test messages? |
